  • Ok so heres my problem i would like to change my xbox(one) region from PAL to NTSC, but i do not know alot about this. i am going 2 be using it for halo2 especially, for faster gameplay and such.

    What would be better... me importing and xbox from america or softmodding my xbox i dont know... i kind of blind here i do not know what to do any some other questions that i'd like to say is... Would i need 2 buy an HALO2 NTSC disk from america or could you overridde the disk format on my pal one. i have an NTSC compatible HDTV so theres no problems there(i hope).

  • if you do not even have a modded Xbox and XBMC then why ask here in the XBMC forum and not at xbox-scene.com forums?


  • 1) softmod your xbox
    2) Get an HD component pack from ebay
    3) Stick on the latest t3ch build of xbmc
    4) Change to NTSC with Enigmah video switcher
    5) Enable your prefered HD mode in the MS dashboard
    6) Enable your prefered HD mode in XBMC

    you should be good to go, not sure about ntsc and pal copies of halo 2 though, but you can use the "launch as ntsc" option in the submenu in xbmc
