  • i have a 2003 subaru impreza wrx what is some good ways i can make it faster and more adgile for not much $$$

  • Try and find a used full turbo back exhaust. They can be had for cheap. It will give you the most amount of power for the least amount of money.


  • A good set of springs like Tanabe or Espelir will run you about $200 plus install and an alignment will total close to $500. Thicker sway bars and end links for another $500 and you will have an excellent handling car. About $90 for a good short shifter from Kartboy or Perrin will be a good mod that you will enjoy for as long as you own the car too. As far as power goes, A down pipe and a reflash will get you the best gains for your dollar. Price will depend on hat you buy. An HKS down pipe and an open source reflash will be about $250 if you have a lap top and are good with a computer. Something like a Cobb Access port is a plug and play reflashing unit but costs about $700 but either way you will see about 50hp in gain. That's more than an intake and exhaust alone will give you for the same cost so it's a good deal. Join NASIOC.com and do lots of research. These cars are pretty efficiently tuned from the factory so you could waste a lot of money modifying things that don't need to be modified.
