  • In the very beginning, all I see is jagged black lines, flames, ugly black particles in the air! My sound card is excellent, so it narrows it down to these three:
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 3.2 GHz
    Graphics Card: Radeon X600
    RAM Space: 1 GB
Please help me! I finally have the game and now I don't get to play it!

  • Its your Processer and Ram.

    Minimum System Requirements:
CPU: Pentium 4 2.4GHz Single Core processor

    System RAM: 1GB

Video Card: Direct X 9.0c compliant video card with 128MB RAM (NVIDIA 6600 or better/ATI X1300 or better, excluding ATI X1550).

Sound Card: 100% direct X 9.0c compatible sound card

Hard disc space: 8GB free space

    Recommended System Requirements:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo processor

    System RAM: 2GB

    Video card:
DX9: Direct X 9.0c compliant video card with 512MB RAM (NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GT or better)
DX10: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 or better

Sound Card: Sound Blaster® X-Fi™ series (Optimized for use with Creative Labs EAX ADVANCED HD 4.0 or EAX ADVANCED HD 5.0 compatible sound cards)

You are on the Min System Requirements meaning it wont run that great...

Hope that clears the problem up :)

Edit: If possible try turning down your graphics settings :)

Edit2: For it to run smoothly either do the above (If possible) or get a Intel Core 2 Duo processor and a another 1GB of ram then it should run smoothly :)

Just go to the source link and look at the reqiurements, thats what you need for you computer.

  • When it comes to games, its your GPU under stress. Your card is too weak for this game and you need to upgrade. Consider getting a PCI-E mobo for about 100-200 and picking up a 8800GT/HD 4850 for about 100 bucks. This graphics card will run the game fine on max.

Your ram is 1GB, which will get by Bioshock unless you are on Vista. It's mostly your CPU and GPU bottlenecking your gaming.

A good CPU nowadays would be from AMD 5000+ up and E6500+ up.
P4 is outdated and won't run these games.

Bottom line is, upgrade or you won't be able to play.

    Good luck!

Edit: Well, that would be a bad thing to do. The CPU will be a factor that slows things down. It will be like buying a new TV for someone almost blind - won't get the most out of it.
